Nature Park "Šargan - Mokra Gora" segment encompasses the mountain Tara, so that borders the National puck "Tara". It is located 210 km from Belgrade and 290 km from Nis. The nearest towns are Visegrad (25 km), Bajina Bašta (37 km) and Užice (45 km). Out of the Park is easily reached and to Zlatibor (40 km), Sirogojno (56 km), Zlatar Lake (73 km), the Special Nature Reserve "Uvac" (115 km).
"The Magic Mountain"
National Ecological Centre makes a unique complex, "The Magic Mountain". It is built mostly of wood, modeled on traditional chalets in this area. It is located in the spruce-beech forest at an altitude of 1353 m on the slopes of the Šarski vršak below Zborište (1544 m n. V.), The highest peak of the mountain of Tara.
